I already have the default NandEmu path but my d2x cIOS is v6 base56. Does this mean that I need to have an alpha version installed in order to have partial NAND emu working properly? This does not seem logic as USB Loader GX 2.3 is not an alpha nor beta version, but requires an alpha version in order to work right!?!

The quote is attributed to the cIOS, not the program. Look for the installer here.

Yeah, there's that option as well. Apologies, I was unaware of your knowledge of the program. Sometimes we gotta help and offer suggestions when necessary information isn't present (like my inference that likely you weren't using V7 of the cIOS --- which proved true, lol

Unfortunately I discovered new problems. Games by Activision like Transformers and Nascar give a black screen when started and the Wii becomes unresponsive. If NAND is turned off the games work without problems. Any clue how to avoid this?

There seems to be quite a lot of games not working when NAND is activated and not only games made by Activision - my experience is around 40% of the games I play. Beside black screen another error I have experienced is with Pokepark, which keeps loading forever. As usual the problem is solved when NAND is deactivated.

    * Partial emulation: Load and save the game saves to the NandEmu path instead of the Wii internal memory.
The Mii, Wiimote configuration and Wii settings are loaded from the real Wii.
    * Full emulation: Load everything from the NandEmu path instead of the Wii internal memory.

    Try loading with different ios....

Already tried with different ios but only setting NAND to off solves the problem.

Today I tried Disney Universe - it had problems loading the save file but when I set NAND to off the problem was solved as usual.

how do you change IOS on USB Loader GX 2.3?

I updated USB Loader GX to v2.3 last night, & also added cIOS224[57]-v5.1, so i can play COD:MW3, but now, when i goto the game load settings, rather than having a pulldown menu to choose IOS, i have an onscreen keyboard. Do i need to type in the full filename? Or perhaps it's just something simple like just entering 224?

    sorted it now.
