    Settings Editor GUI

    By JoostinOnline and stfour

    Things you can change:
    • Screen resolution
    • Aspect ratio
    • Sensor bar position
    • Sound mode
    • Wii remote rumble
    • Screen burn-in reduction
    • Shutdown mode
    • Wii remote sensitivity
    • Wii Connect 24
    • Internet Settings (boot directly into them)

Note: You cannot change a setting unless you have changed it at least once in the System Settings.

You can also use custom themes and fonts. There is an example included in the download. If you don't have one on your SD/USB, it will try and use the one from postLoader.

To use a custom font, place "font.ttf" in your "SE_theme" or "theme" folder.

I bricked my Wii and I watched a video on youtube that said I need to delete my setting.txt file to fix it. Will this app do that so I can fix my Wii?

I'll test it for you in the morning. Send me a link with the files.

I'm starting to wonder if there is a reason people call it failtube...

Btw, this edits SYSCONF (located in shared2), not setting.txt

Please let me know if you are interested. Also keep in mind that you should make a bootmii backup. I don't think this will cause any problems, but safety first.
    Sure. Send me the link.

IIRC, there's a setting.txt replacer... You just have to create a new one on your PC using the SettingsEditor program by Bad_Ad84, place it in the Settings Replacer folder, then load it and let it do its job. You can't delete your setting.txt file (if you do so, you'll lose the connection with your WiiMotes); it's better to replace it with a clean one.

I think I have it lying somewhere around; if I find it I'll PM you the link. The bad thing about it is that it uses IOS249 to work, so you better go and verify you have it with IOS38 as base (if anyone can find the source, I may be able to modify it to include an IOS selection screen).

EDIT: and of course, if anyone finds the source code, maybe Joostin can include this feature in B.L.I.N.D./ProgressiveSwitch, which would be neat.

Lol. I guess you don't know me well enough to know I was joking. I repair consoles as a hobby so I know my way around things. I was just messing with joostin.

I've looked for the source but could never find it. If you do, please send it to me.
