Hi, hope you can help me. I keep getting the error 001 while trying to launch it via NeoGamma. Don't know what else to do. How do I exactly install the cIOS249 base 56?

Sounds like you should update your softmod. Click the "Author's Index" button along the top of any HD page. Scroll down to mauifrog. Click his guide "Softmod ANY Wii." There's a section near the beginning in a spoiler that says "If you have HBC" or similar. Start there.

Yeah I just did everything on that guide. I followed every step and had no problem at all. I'm using NeoGamma R9 beta 49.

Should I do every step on the guide again?

Mauifrog's guide installs cIOS 249 with a base of 38. As you've mentioned (and as I've forgotten, lol) you need a different base. The spoiler below instruct you on how to do this, and where to get that particular flavor/version of 249:

Edit: in the linked thread, find the spoiler having "Davebaol cIOS D2X" in it, that'd be the ticket.

I already did that. Downloaded cIOSXXX[56]-v21d2x6(21006) and installed it with wad manager running 236. Still getting error 001. Dont know what to do besides getting a HDD, but right now I dont have the money to, so Im stucked with error 001 lol.

That's usually a sign of an outdated loader or softmod. Did you remember to Block IOS Reload and save, as described in the given spoiler? Of course there's Neo Gamma R9 B50 (I think you can find that under the "downloads" button at top of any HD page. You could always post a Syscheck as described here as a reply to this thread...

Your cIOS is fine. Use Neogamma, go to options and "Block iOS Reload".

I will double check this myself later today!
