glad your enjoying it mate. your going to get the reflow bug though, guard your wallet well lol. i'd take a photo of the workbench on a normal day but i cant find the camera in all the mess on there

brett nice job mate the anticipation fromplugging it in to seeing it light up never dies, at least not for me, always smile when i see green. one thing though, you dont mean you have one washer on the top of the board and one on the bottom do you?
2 top side is mandatory as thats the standoff height and any less causes bending of the board and chip. a botton one really isn't needed unless there is a sharp edge on your bolts which there shouldn't be.

bolt motherboard and 2 washers here but as long as the bolt is not hitting the chasis before you screw the board into it your way is fine. if your bolts hit the chasis though screwing it down will be warping the board slightly.

    nice workroom bad_ad84

Garage where is a good place to buy AS5? I wanna change the thermal paste on my GPU like we discussed on the phone but I dunno where I should get it and if its the real stuff I saw loads of different ones on fleabay and got confused. Also anyone ever use those whisper fans are they a good replacement for the stock ones they claim to move more air and thats gotta be good right?

fleebay 250959803143 i've used this guy a few times and its always genuine and delivered next working day. 3.5g is tons, spread it evenly and only a uncooked grain of rice sized blob of as5 on each of the bigger die's and use any left on the spreader to do the edram on the gpu, thats the small die.
