    I talked to him on IRC, I didn't realize that you were responding to a previous post since you didn't quote it.

    I'm well aware that it's not complicated stuff (in fact, it's as simple as I could make it), and I'm not on a "high horse", I just made something that I thought others might find useful, as well as liven up this part of the forum. If you have some tips/tricks to contribute, I'm sure we'd all appreciate you posting a new topic with them.

    It didnt need quoting, it was following the conversation that was in progress.

    If I was talking about your first post, then I should (and would have) quoted that. But replying inline with the 2 posts directly before - not so much.

    Perhaps it's my fault then. I'm sorry.

    If anybody wants to use any of the other methods that Bad_Ad84 mentioned above, download this file and place it in C:\Windows\System32

    You can replace the bolded text with something else if you want to use something other than his last suggestion:
    @echo off
    if exist list.txt del list.txt
    set directory=%1
    Dir /b /a-d > _tmp.txt
    type _tmp.txt | findstr /v _tmp.txt > list.txt
    del _tmp.txt
    notepad.exe list.txt
    Edit: You don't actually need that "set directory=%1" line, I just forgot to remove it.
