No, it's a method to prevent bricks, not fix them. Thankfully, mauifrog created a great guide for fixing 003 bricks:

    The point is that I DONīt have a 003 Wii . . .
It boots normally, I can play burned discs (any region), acces HBC, priiloader, BootMii (as IOS), etc
Running AnyRegionChanger (just for test, I havenīt changed anything) it says AREA = USA, but HackMii installer warns me : SysMenu Region = 4, SYSCONF Region = 1

    According to this info : wiibrew.org/wiki/Beginners%27_guide_to_the_Wii%27s_hardware_and_sof tware_layout

what I have is an Opera brick in Config Menu
Too much risky if I try to delete Korean Key?

I'm sorry, I misunderstood. So does your Wii freeze when you enter the System Settings?

Yes, when trying to access Config Menu it only displays three black dots over full white screen, I go out pressing home then going to SM (i.e., Wii donīt hang up)
All the other stuff works normally

Run this and upload CheckSettings.log. It will be created in either the SD root, or in the folder you ran the app from.

    Test results

I ran CheckSettings.dol and CheckSettings.elf, both of them crashes in the 3rd step and no log file is generated (I must use GC control, no wiimote is recognized, ok?)
So I attach the screenshots of the 3 first screens (welcome screen, settings.txt and sysconf values), maybe it's useful (Serial Nr erased for security reasons )
I also attach log generated by NandCheckBin utility, maybe it helps (look at the last items where 003 test is performed)

A curious thing : in NandBinCheck log file appears channels that I've deleted with AnyTitleDeleter (I donīt see them anymore in my SysMenu, nor in Priiloader list of channels)

Language = Spanish is ok cos of my country

ATD can't completely remove history of titles because the names still exist in your uidsys, and there might be some other stuff left over.

Thanks for the code dump. It crashed because I didn't allocate enough memory for the password and PIN in that version (translation: I did something extremely stupid). I'll be uploading a new one tomorrow, and renaming the project "InspectMii".

That did tell me the more important stuff though. I'd only like to know one more thing (the version of the System Men), which will require you to run SysCheck. Here's a guide on posting it:

Well, here`s my syscheck logs (I apologize it`s in spanish), SysMenu is 4.3U
I ran it with Homebrew Channel (under IOS58), if I run it with Homebrew Loader of USBLoader (under IOS222) gives me no region info

Booting in savemiifrii (four buttons of GC control pressed) also gives me SysMenu = 4.3U

I don't know why SysCheck says it's 4.3U (I'll have to fix that), but 518 is 4.3K. That's your problem. You need to install 4.1U. You already have IOS60 installed, so don't touch that.

What you need to do is download NUSD, and enter everything just like it is in this picture:

    Spoiler

In the NUSD folder, you should see a new folder called "0000000100000002v449", and there will be a wad file inside. Move that to your SD card and install it with MMM.

    Very interesting !
Some inexperienced user's questions before proceeding (sorry, I`m afraid of full-bricking !!!)

1- Should I use KoreanKii to erase Korean signature before doing this downgrade ? i.e., can a 4.1U SM run in a korean-coded Wii? I wonder about NandBinCheck saying "The System Menu doesn`t appear to perform the Korean-key check", thinking IOS80 is not patched

2- Downgrading to 4.1 isn`t very risky? Why not to just reinstall "real" 4.3U (v513) instead ? (I'm sure there's a good reason...)

    3- Should I delete IOS70 & IOS80 before I reinstall IOS60?

4- In MMM, should I use "Wad Manager" option to install de wad file I've downloaded ?
