Are you using windows 7? Sometimes my computer don't see some of my hardware, like my installed multi card reader, and just yesterday it wasn't seeing my onboard audio card. I restarted my computer and now my speakers work again, but not my multi card reader. I just installed win 7 on a different computer and the keyboard don't work, I'll look to see what I can find out.

Unplug it, turn the PC off. Plug it back in, turn the PC back on. Happened alot to my old XP with a god awful PS/2 port for the keyboard.
