Oh, I thought Quick Stream wasn't working because of the licensing issue.

Out of curiosity, what happened with System Restore? I use it a lot when working on people's computers.

Control Panel > Recovery > System Restore

I reported my problem to microsoft only because they rushed out a shit product.

The quick stream uninstaller hangs too and does nothing. How does the uninstaller lock up? I blame windows 10. With the quick stream application I want to run the compatibility wizard and Win 8 is the highest version of windows I could test it against. Is windows 10 just a neat looking skin for windows 8?

Alright, I got it installed. The uninstaller was failing to show progress and close it self out when done, it just looked like it was doing nothing. I shut down my pc and restarted and was prompted to reinstall the quick stream drivers. This time I selected "no". I then proceeded to run the latest installer for quick stream and it worked this time. No more license error upon boot up.

Windows 10 is still very early in its release. This happens on every version. At least it's not Vista.
