    Fair enough, I still don't know how to make those keys/entries I saw on the Chrome forums regarding this issue. Bleh, this is starting to give me a headache. Sorry, I'm just annoyed that something in the Chrome install got corrupted.


    Edit: I don't know if I'm delirious from being tired but somehow, the update finally worked oO

    I have no idea how.

    I..I don't know how it resolved itself. All I can think of is a little Chrome cleanup tool that looks for browser-embedded malware and remove it. Why it didn't take effect immediately I don't know. That being said, I wish to apologize for wasting your guys' time, yet again.
